Game Name: Rule of Rose
Codebreaker Injected: NO
Widescreen: YES
Title-ID: SLES-54218
Size: 2.35GB
Issues: Pre-rendered FMVs have stuttering audio.
Notes: I umm'ed and ahh'ed about whether to upload this or not, given the FMV stutter issue. I guess we'll see if people can play it or not. If it's no good then it's no good, I'm sorry.

Please let me know if the FMV stutter is too much to be playable, it should be okay... I guess... but it all depends on your tolerance.

Hello, I have a problem. The game doesn't seem to recognize any command. I have to setup something in order to play these games with a ps4 controller?

Please, ignore my previous comment. Everything works fine, my controller just went crazy for a while

*phew* Got a bit panicky then, since the game ran fine with my testing. However! How do you find the FMVs and audio stutter? Playable? Or too irritating?

The FMVs to me seem good, at least on my system they seem to run smoothly. As for the audio, it has a bit of distortion, but not something that makes you crazy. For me is playable. Thank you for converting this little gem!

That's fantastic, I'm really glad to hear that! Enjoy the game \o/

Usually if I didn't include CB it's either because it doesn't work (either due to needing an older emulator that doesn't support disc swap *without* reset, or because attempting to inject the CB binary/ELF into the game breaks it) or perhaps because I forgot :\ My PKGs are never passworded, so anyone is absolutely free to extract using LMAN's PKG Viewer app and then modify the ISO to inject CB :)

I'd like to give it ago. see i'm no expert, but i can manage, although i did asked few times what tool to use to unpack fake PKG modify then repack again never got an answer XD

So using the tool you mentioned i can do that? do i need to do any extra work around? or just like extarting an ISO adding the CB files and repacking?

To unpack fake, or retail - if you have the password - yeah, LMAN's PS4 PKG Viewer will do just fine, you can view/extract contents. To repack you'll need to do the same thing all other fPKG PS4 apps need, a tool such as Orbis Pub Gen -- or you could even try one of the new PS2 Classics PKG makers.

Hmm i have never tried to make FPKGs before, but i used the PS2 classic maker, so the other option to avoid using all these tools is to unpack add the files and create an ISO to use it with the PS2 classic maker right? although some ps2 games has a specific LBA order (i learned that form my experience with the PS3) some games would just break if you modify the ISO.

Is there an easy tut on how to create fpkgs?

Yeah, sadly some PS2 titles don't like the ISO being tampered with - which is why many of my RPG uploads don't have CB *injected* but set as a separate ISO that can be switched during play. To switch discs you need to be running at *least* the Jak emulator, and I'm not sure if the maker GUI/tools/etc support multi-disc PKGs. Usually you'd just have disc01.iso and disc02.iso.

You mean like we can use the CB in a separate iso (as disc one ) then siwtch disc after selecting cheats?

Btw i made some cheats for Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII using PS4_cheater and they do have static Addresses (most of the other PS2 games i tried doesn't have static addresses) but most the cheats i found are static

Precisely. This is how I get around LBA/tamper-proof PS2 titles, however, like I said; disc-swapping *without resetting the emulator* is only functional on the Jak emulator or later. Any template earlier than Jak will reset the emulator and prevent cheats working. Many games run worse in the Jak emulator, and many don't launch at all.
