Awaited New Jailbreak to PlayStation 4 Coming Soon (6.72 firmware)

Andy Nguyen aka "TheFlow" had just recently tweeted an announcement suggesting of the exploit seen in firmware 6.72, consequently suggesting that a new jailbreak for the PS4 is imminent.

Meantime, here's a spreadsheet listing all the games that can be played and not be played on firmware 6.72:

Does Nioh 2 and DBZ Kakarot work with fmw 7.02 ?
Also i heard that Jail Breaking won't be as easy this time.
there will be no webkit like AlAzif's 5.05.
JailBreak has been announced few days ago already, didn't know it takes that much time to make it available for the public.

looks to be 6.72 as webkit already exists but we all just need to relax and see what comes out my silm is sat on 6.72 so fingers crossed

I have some games released after OFW 5.05 and I can make some dumps for the forum, after the exploit and the tools will be released:

Detroit - Become Human
AC - Odyssey
Red Dead Redemption II (this one is listed to be sold, hope kexploit releases before)
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Days Gone

I have played the games on a slim with ofw 6.00 and updated to 6.20 for Days Gone. Just for firmware knowing purpose.

I had also TLOU part II, but sold the game. It was requiring 7.50.

You ca buy the Fortnite Neo Versa bundle, mine is OFW 6.70 out from the box. I also bought the limited edition TLOU 2 and sold the game, to compensate, it had also OFW 6.70, but maybe SONY will do some changes. In case it helps. I had the limited ed from 0day, updated to 7.5 for the game...this is the reason I have a second Fortnite bundle.

Officialy I think. But search for a tutorial. And don't update now. It's possible that the exploit to not work properly from the start. I remember that in the past, my phat 5.05 gave a lot of errors, especially at the installation part, in the first weeks after the exploit.

The recovery file is used for changing the HDD, from what I know.

Thanks for the help, tell you the truth im really trying to just move on from 5.05 in play my MK11 Lol. That's why I have a 360 jtag and a ps3 jailbreak to keep me going Into 6.72 Jailbreak released

Just buy a second console. I also have a rgh xbox 360 and some ps3's which are modded. You can buy also a cheap second hand one, if it's just for Mortal Kombat.

But I have also a phat ps4 on 5.05, a slim which was on 6 (updated to 6.2 for Days Gone - because The Fl0w told us that 6.20 will be exploited) and a pro at 7.5. Bought in the time a Fortnite bundle to have ofw 6.70 and to mod it. I will sell the slim to compensate for the money. The exploit was announced 2 or 3 days after I bought a limited ed tlou2...

Maybe you can download the game for PC, but stay now on 5.05. I think that my phat will stay on 5.05 until I will play all the games available. )
