Would like to know why PS4 PKG List missing latest games.

Good Day.

I noticed that PS4 PKG Games that posted for download do *not* have latest games? May I know why?
It seems everything is like Year 2019 or prior (eg: April 2019 or before) .

For example. Where do I see Fifa 20, NBA 20 or NHL 20 ? What about great game hit "Devil May Cry 5"

Many thanks. I am very confused.. I stop check console scene for 10 month. (I stopped on 2019 April) . Now I am back I am still seeing the same old games that I saw 10 months ago.

Yes. Until a newer exploit exists we are handcuffed at games that require firmware 5.05 or less.

Small disclaimer - there has been some work at back porting a couple games that normally require higher firmware back to 5.05 (Examples - Moons of Madness and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Demo). This has quickly proved NOT be possible for most games though, so we really need a new exploit before more games are possible.

A new exploit does exist in private, and it is being kept private until PS5 launches in the hopes that this information may help to exploit the PS5 (Remember, the PS5 also plays PS4 games).

So... a new PS4 exploit should come eventually... but it could be a year or more after PS5 release. Will anyone care at that point? Some people certainly will although I suspect most will have moved on.
