I notice the visual upgrade but the widescreen kinda seems a bit off for me, the character looks a bit thinner compared to VJ1 without the widescreen patch or maybe because i mostly play as Silvia and she's slimmer than Joe lol!, i did finish this game on the PS2 waaaay back so my recollection might be cloudy, still it looks and plays great, having a real blast playing this again

The patch is fine, it was created by the PCSX2 community. I think you might just be used to the older 4:3 image so 16:9 looks "different", but the hack - as far as I know - simply expands the viewing area. Joe would be FATTER if the hack was stretching the screen to fit 16:9

Yeah, it must be because i was playing the widescreen unpatched VJ1 as well, it's probably a placebo effect making me think it was off based on the 4:3 image of VJ1, actually playing it quite recently, it's funny that i find this better than the PS2 ver. lol!
