Tutorial Updating to 5.05

Thanks mate, I will try to delete 5.55. Better to be safe.

Update: Is there any tutorial about how to delete patch file? I found only those for already jailbroken consoles.
Anytime! I read this: to delete the file in debug go to setting >initial>reset personal setting. They went on to say do not hard reset as you will lose everything.

I'm unsure if this is the way to remove it, however. (Perhaps this person is already jailbroken?) It was just something I saw this morning trying to answer my own question :)

Yeah, I also read it somewhere this morning, but I think that debug settings are only available on jailbroken console, while my is still untouched.

I kinda figured that (hence the debug, but I wasn't sure)! So sorry I couldn't have been more help! The search continues!

If anyone is having same issue that I had, I can confirm that there is no problem. I just cut Internet connection and 5.05 installed properly using the method from tutorial.

Noobie Question

Hi I have ps4 on 5.05 at the moment ( it's not jailbroken)
how do i get it jailbroken?
do i just type in DNS codes and open up browser?

Thanks.

i'm on firmware 5.50 can i do this to install 5.05 on my PS4

The PlayStation 4 cannot be downgraded. You're out of luck.

You have to look for another PlayStation 4 with FW below 5.05/5.07 to use this guide.
