Hi everyone I'm just asking for a small help, 20 hours ago modded warfare released a video in which he showed how to install distro linux on the PS4
It comes with custom Linux drivers, Emulators, Steam and more but sadly the download link for the psxitarch.tar.xz file isn't working anymore.
I've searched everywhere but I couldn't find a working one so it would be nice if one of you re-uploaded the file so we could download it.
Thanks in advance and forgive my english, I am not a native speaker.
Here is the video :

And not just me, a lot of people were complainig...

I'm currently downloading from that link, already on 77%..
if anyone have linux payload for esp8266 please share

Okay so now I have an other problem
I don't have the emulators nor preferences showing up when I click on the pink mushroom icon
Why is that? Does anyone know how to fix this ?

Most likely their server was overloaded by so many requests downloading the file.

Installed this last night:) seems to work well. Anyone else have a slightly tinted screen though? How do I change it.

I keep getting the 'system out of memory' message.
Never had this before with other payloads. Any suggestions?

Can one of you guys reupload? Would really help a lot of people out, their site keeps crashing with server issues :(

not working for my PS4 Pro CUH-7115B... freezes at black screen after payload injection. Any fix?

how are people copying content to the external flash drive once linux is on it? ive found 2 programs for reading/writing to linux partitions but both cost money.

Depends on which filesystem it is using. Is it EXT4?

Okay so Wine isn't working, I can't use the ps4 controller to play with emulators, can't figure out how to install flatpak games and there's no way to use a headset
Too many issues to fix...
Or maybe I'm just not familliar with Linux :/
Also what version of linux is it? I mean when I want to download a program they ask me to chose Ubuntu,Fedora...etc
Which one should I pick ?

The name suggests that it might be Arch Linux given the "arch" at the end of the distribution name.

The wallpaper in the article about it also says Arch Linux actually. Afaik Arch Linux uses pacman as its package manager.

im pretty excited to use this, i have a ps4 model where everything is supported specificially mounting the ps4's internal hdd which i just bought the kit to expand it to a 8tb 3.5" internal drive on a switch you can switch between the old 2.5" drive and the new 3.5" drive. i used to use linux alot but i mostly stuck to debian based distros. i heard arch was less user friendly do you think there will be much of a learning curve being only familiar with debian. i was thinking of loading kodi onto the arch linux as well as playing around with all the included emulators. sounds like a good time. anyone try installing this distro to your fat32 formatted external hdd and then installing gparted and repartitioning the drive to add an exfat partition so you can get around the file limitations of fat32 drives? curious if it will still boot after trying that. i'd be playing around with this already just dont have a wired/wireless keyboard anymore or a usb hub mostly laptops in this house these days.
