Hi

I installed the latest tinfoil via nsp. to connect jits however there dose not seem to be a option in file browser to do it.
 
I sorted it went on discord got evreything i needed.
 
I just woulnt use tinfoil at all. but if it works for you good

DLC's always use Goldleaf, Tinfoil doesn't like it when the file has been modified (usually to make it smaller)
 
As above use goldleaf. However, i use mainly shops to get stuff so tinfoil is better for me.

What do I recommend? well ... I recommend getting a storage drive dedicated for your games. download the ones you like and keep them there for future installs. you can even set up your own home private server to download via FTP,
and then there is people that dont have or cant afford their own $50 hard drive for storage. in that case i recommend following @African he is great a what he does. (games and updates)

what tinfoil and HBG shop wanted to do was nefarious and i dont like them for that.

I agree our freind @African is very good at what he dose keeping on top of things. As for the what HBG and Tinfoil got upto probably no worse than some people who are not to hard to find selling atmosphere preconfigured on a sd card with games. I think the shops have worked out they make more money on donations than trying to charge a fee.

Except, HBG stole the donations.

The new shops now don't ask for donations, and are totally free, but they are currently having issues with quota being hit due to HBG leaving the scene and Google Drive dropping their download limit.
 
Thanks, I see what you guys are saying. I had no idea, as I'm pretty new to the homebrew scene. I just need to figure out how to install via USB with goldleaf because I couldn't get anything going when I first started. Aka turned to using tinfoil with USB install.

And yeah, @African is a godsend! I've been downloading from his threads :)
 
To use Goldleaf with USB, download Quark for your PC.
 
I had problems getting my switch to sync properly with quark so Im still using jits. I think it was confusing because I kept trying to find youtube guides and it seemed a bit cryptic getting it going. Is there an updated guide to getting quark to sync my pc with my switch? I would like to set up a backup hard drive with the games on it so I don't need a good internet connection to swap out the games on my sd card anymore.
