those are artefacts, this is due the fact this is running on a ps2 emulator, therefore that is beyond my reach

You can use --gs-kernel-cl-up="up2x2simple" in your config. Result is better, but not perfect
This is my version. I used PAL (europe) and also widescreen patched it for 16:9 displays.
