Should I remove the jailbreak from my ps4 or not? Is OWF better?

I just need some gamer-to-gamer advice before removing my jailbreak.

No, I didn't know that. Hey, If I connect my ps4 to the Wifi and update it, will the jailbreak be gone? And can I sign up to the so called "PSPLUS or PSN" and get to the online world?

Or if I update it, will my ps4 get broken?

Get 2 PS4's

1 PS4 for Jailbreak

1 PS4 for new games and online

Simple as that. You can't have brand new games and jailbreak on the same PS4 right now.

Sorry y'all I just don't know about these stuff.

It's ok. I would strongly advise NOT removing your PS4 jailbreak if you can afford a second PS4 for new games like AC Valhalla and online play.

We are stuck at 5.05 now, but theres rumors of a 6.20 jailbreak this year (no promises!) and who knows after that.

You can always sell one of the PS4's later on if you need to but I see so many cheap second hand systems that it's a shame to update past 5.05 right now.

It's your console; your choice obviously.

Thank you so much for your reply, man. I appreciate it.

In order to remove the jailbreak, I just need to update the system with Wifi, right?

I'll answer that in a second, but I will offer another idea to you.

If you SELL your 5.05 Jailbreak PS4 console, you could possibly get enough money for a brand new PS4 Pro.

To remove the jailbreak - this is what I would do.

1) If you have an update blocker, remove that first. That can be enabled and disabled though the Al Azif mod.

2) I would do a full system format. This will clean everything up and open up all your hard drive space consumed by fPKG. There's a chance this step might save you from a ban, but I don't know for sure.

3) Connect your PS4 to Wifi (make sure any manual DNS settings are removed) and update.

Didn't Sony sue someone for selling a jailbroken ps4 on ebay?

The key is DO NOT sell it with games installed. I do not promote piracy for profit.

Selling a jailbroken console or just selling a 5.05 firmware console is legal.

To be 100% safe, just factory reset the console and sell it as a 5.05 firmware PS4.
