my fat PS4 is on 5.05 and when I boot up its telling me it needs to have the firmware reinstalled (guessing its corrupt) upon trying to reinstall I get a message saying that the firmware needs to be 5.05 or higher to update, which it is as i downloaded the 5.05 update from darksoftware. Anyone know how to solve this problem and reinstall without having to update to a higher firmware (also ive tried 2 seperate usbs to make sure it wasnt a fault there)

Disable internet connection on your PS4 and unplug LAN Cable, eject a disc, go to safe mode then update.
