Hi guys/gals.

Ive just purchased my first unpatched Switch, its due in this weekend, also purchased a 256Gb SD card and RCM Loader.

1.What firmware is the best firmware to use? I see that some people have issues running games unless you use certain firmwares. How do i get to the best firmware installed?

2.Is there any up to date video tutorials i can follow for hacking? I prefer to watch someone do it that read.

3.What about other sites for NSP games?

thanks in advance , i havent modded in a few years so out of the loop on this stuff just now.

1. Just use latest firmware with atmosphere. No problems.

2. Don't know

3. I don't think you can ask that here or I can tell you. Google is your friend. But you should be able to find any nsp you want here. The search box is also your friend.

1. There is no better or worse firmware for running games, they both do the same job, SXOS is in a bit of a pickle right now, so it's entirely up to you if you want to go the paid route and end up with a buggered OS or you can go with Atmosphere which is free and does exactly the same job.

2. There's loads of youtube videos, but there's a fool proof guide of here that works 100%

3. Obviously nobody will give you names of other sites on here, that's not a very loyal thing to do, but I'm sure a bit of Googling will show you a few, but they'll only have the same wares as on here.

I can't speak for others on here and personally I'm not sure if I'm even taking the right steps as I've not been doing this long either but I push the hekate payload to the switch first and from that I back up the nand and then create a file based emunand on the SD card.
After that's done I the follow the tutorial by Dorian that Azrial has laid out the link for.
As for seeing someone do it in a video as long as you follow the instructions in the tutorial step by step, you really can't go wrong.
Also, just to echo what others have said...
You really won't find better resources that what is here, you needn't go anywhere else.
