PS4HEN1.7 Rest mode is not working

Hi,

I tried PS4HEN1.7 cause I needed the external hard disk support without app2usb payload. But I found that rest mode is not working, however it only gives black screen after wake up and I can push the power button to turn off the ps4 and then turn it off.
Unlike when using Mira+HEN the rest mode crashes the ps4 and I had to force turn off and the ps4 will check the file system on next reboot.

Anyone else facing that?
 
If anything (well to my experience anyway) Just waking the system up from rest mode crashes my game but im able to close the game and load another at will. I load the payload through the Internet browser for HEN 1.7. Maybe (MAYBE) It has something to do with the fact your loading from external hard disk?
 
Nope, I tried games running from the internal disk with the same isssue.
 
Rest Mode has never worked for me with hen. 1.6, 1.7. Doesn't work idk why
 
I am getting the same bug.By thorough research I got to know it is a exploit bug .Just restart the ps4 and dont run the exploit .It would work fine
 
For some reason V1.7 won’t cache for me V1.6 worked fine. It says it caching but after turn off won’t load hen just sits with spinning circle. Anyone got any ideas?
 
I have to be online to launch this each time how do I cache it?
 
Click the down arrow next to 5.05 and then click cache.

I am finding that 1.7 hen - which i have cached is having the problem of saying "Putting the ps4 into rest mode" after i push the button once with a black screen and no response. From what i am reading here rest mode is fine for others with 1.7 hen?

Rest mode for some reason works for some and doesn't for others. It doesn't work for me no matter what settings i set in the power save settings. It's not just you.

Strange, I had that for my primary dns. the old one was my secondary dns. - now i deleted secondary dns. I have been using cached offline version. Whenever i try to recache it or Hen, it says i am up to date - i have been reading that there is a hen 1.8, but i get hen 1.7. I will see if i can figure out how to clear my cache, maybe its stuck on old version. I am getting same thing on rest mode.

Open the PlayStation 4 browser. Hit the Options button and open Settings in the menu that appears. There delete cookies and website data several times to really clean all cookies and cache.
 
Good info (i didn't know how to delete cache/cookies etc until now) - Same thing is happening, and im still on 1.7 - is anyone else on 1.8 hen? - for me problem still not solved. Appreciate all the attempts at help though!

1.8 isn't up in Alazif exploit page yet. You need to use a different self exploit for 1.8. Although there's really no difference between 1.7 & 1.8
