PS4 5.05 Skyrim mods

Did anyone here manage to get the conversion tools from Claysons video before the Discord group, video and links went down and if so could you reupload them? I am unable to successfully convert dds to gnf so I cannot pack the files into a bsa and when you have 65 mods in one texture folder things become really annoying when you eventually add a new mod that doesn't work.

PureXenon you use mods there is some place that can download already converted, something else you can use more bodies already thank you

How can I merge multiple mods WITHOUT having the game installed on my pc ?
Any solution because I really want to use more than just 10 mods :/

No, you're going to have to convert the mods yourself. I haven't found a place that has converted mods.

You need to use the eboot.bin patcher. If you google it you'll find it. Then change the skyrim.ccc into mods.txt and put all your mods in there. No need to edit the skyrim.ini.

Does it work with the base version of skyrim special edition? Not the one with the 1.09 update ?
Just how do I install mods without changing the .ini file? Please explain

So I have the 1.09 update pkg
Do I first install the 1.09 update then make a custom update with the mods higher than 1.09 ? Will it work ?

And what's that mod.txt that you are talking about? Is it a file I create ? Where do I put it? What do I patch with the eboot patcher? The pkg or the eboot inside it? Please explain step by step I really need this
I've been searching for months how to do it

I honestly thought there was a tutorial video to go with it, my mistake. But yeah, you extract the 1.09 pkg, and use the patcher on the eboot file within. I used a hex editor but they do the same thing. Then you create a mods.txt file where the eboot is and list out your mods inside it. If you don't know how to convert mods there is a modded warfare video about it on youtube. Then you repack the pkg and install.

That's exactly what I've done but the mods don't work :/
The mods.txt is in the image0 folder next to the Eboot.bin and the mods are in the data folder
But for the BSA files I write them in the .ini file or also in the mods.txt?
Just why doesn't it work...

Do I have to write sTestFile=... in the mods.txt ?

It's said that I can also do it with the .ccc file.
Is there also no mod limit ? And do I need some specific program?

Try using a hex editor and open the eboot.bin, search for skyrim.ccc, if it does show up the patcher didn't work for some reason. If that is the case, re-extract the eboot and use the hex editor to change skyrim.ccc into mods.txt. There is no mod limit. I'm using 70 or so atm. I never tried using the skyrim.ccc as is but it might work. And lastly you don't need the STestFile just put the name.esp then make a new line for a new entry.

I know this is an older thread but I too am having issues with the "new" method using the eboot.bin patcher. Does anyone have a step by step on putting the bsa and bsn files in the mods.txt file and what that all looks like? and also, to create the patch, just use the last part of modded warfare's guide?

Hi, the BSA/BA2's don't go in the mods.txt only the esp's, the BSA/BA2 the will auto load along side the esp assuming its been added to the game (for skyrim the two that auto load are "mod.bsa" and "mod - Textures.bsa" and for fallout 4 its "mod - Main.ba2" and "mod - Textures.ba2".

There a list of working mods available and load ordering? To minimise issues users might have?

Also, anybody aware if mods works for GTA? Seen something called OpenIV which references the PS4 but I can only presume that's a mod tool for GTA 4

There is no "list" you must test the mods out yourself, although i have been testing and uploading mods to the PS4 nexus(https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimplaystation4), you can mod GTA V but not as of yet the OpenIV team will not allow us to edit the PS4 rpf(i've tried asking them they just keep ignoring me) once they enable editing rpfs ill be sure to check out and try mods(i plan on adding a car based mod and make/use a mod menu that will allow me to spawn it in the game once i'm able to add mods/edit rpf's)

Am I right in understanding that Modded Warfare's tutorial is outdated or incorrect? I just followed his method but am caught in an infinite loop on my main menu.

It cycles between telling me to sign in to PSN and saying that the load order has changed before reloading and repeating itself.

Load ordering is what I meant, heard it's important mods load in the correct order, not actually tried any modding myself.

Got a 5.05 phat PS4 and a vr but rarely use them (have a toddler so hardly have the time to look at the PS4)

Had considered messaging the OpenIV team but guess that's a lost cause

I am attempting to make an accurate up to date step by step guide. I think I have a pretty good handle after spending time here and there over the course of months. I don't understand why no one has simply shared their files. I urge folks to share whatever files and load order info they can. I suppose this is the whole It's mine selfish thing going on. Which I hate and abhor. While trust me as one who worked hard on his mugen. I know just what it is like to spend lots of hours on things and not want to share with others cause they didn't help make it. But skyrim is life. If others will not simply share I ask simply for help with the 2things I don't have a good overstanding about before I truly begin the work to bring Skyrim JAILBREAK PS4 mods to the masses. What should format of mod.txt be? What is a good list of working mods and their order?

These are fair and friendly questions.

I have reviewed the data and it's murky. Even when you have a PS4 legit using legit method. On XBOX ONE too. Order is a problem.

Please I beg of you Skyrim PS4 Jailbreakers make it easier for me to help others though if you catch my drift I will do this with or with out you...
