So we can actually add mods to skyrim by using this method ,the problem is that we cannot use more than 10 esp/esm files :/ and adding too much of high resolution textures (more than 10gb of 4k) will cause the game to crash. Also some quest mods don't work (black screen when you launch the game)
Does anyone know in which directory the mods are stored in the hdd when you download them from the game on an updated console?
Just why isn't this video popular? if everyone saw this I'm sure we could do amazing things
Sorry for my english, I'm not a native speaker

I followed the video and tried at least 3 times with different mod combinations and even though the update installed without errors, the game kept freezing on the main screen. If someone is able to do it, please let me know

Which Mods are you trying to use may I ask?

I tried textures mods, pure waters and npc replacers, neither of them worked

Which texture mods and npc replacers, specifically? Although, off the top of my head, it sound to me like you're having problems with large uncompressed textures.

Unfortunately, I wont be able to share the modded patch due to Skyrim authors policies, even though we are actually using a pirated game, authors are just regular people and they don't charge for their mods and I want to respect them, however I'm willing to make a step by step process on how to create the patch if there is enough interest.

I was able to load a total of 58 plugins and more than 200 mods between textures and models, the only bad thing is that the PS4 does not accept lossless DDS formats, so the faces normalmaps will be pixelated even with a 4K texture. Stay tuned for a detailed tutorial, I'm currently testing sability and a modified Skyrim.ini

That is my tutorial for Skyrim modding PS4, with no limit of 10 mods, it will not mark your save as modded, and does not disable trophies. Also it shows off my file format conversion tools, so you can convert textures, voice dialog, and sounds/music. I saw some people saying textures weren't playing well for them especially when using a lot of them, but after using my texture converting tool in the tutorial you can pack the textures into a .bsa improving performance. Using my method and tools I have gotten lots of mods including big quest mods to work. So have fun!

You just need a Skyrim PS4 update which contains the file Skyrim.ccc, as explained in the video. Then you can patch the eboot.bin to look for mods.txt instead of Skyrim.ccc and you can type as many esp/esl/esm as you want and they will load (alongside any .bsa with the same name). As far as load order goes the mods will load in the order you type them so load order can be sorted. I have seen a max of 14 plugins loaded using my method, but as far as I am concerned you can load a lot more. All the tools work on Fallout 4 as well except Archive.exe and if someone finds a way to improve upon this stuff PM me on Discord I would love to talk about it. :)

Would you be willing to provide the dump of 1.09 patch for skyrim?
Nevermind i dumped 1.09 for the version provided on the fourm. Great tutorial

You got custom voice dialogue to work? How did you get the .at9 sound file packed into the .fuz?

Video is unavailable, I managed to find it on archive.org but the files in the description are no longer available.

So, does anyone have some really good step by step tutorial ?
I still can't use more than 10 "simple" mods cuz big quest mods don't work and the game freezes on a black screen and there's not enough space in the .ini file...
And couldn't someone just merge a lot of mods and post the modded update ? If you are worried about the original authors then just credit them :/
It would be cool to add all the 2k textures and some quest mods
