Hello dear friends,
i am a total beginner in ps4 jailbreaking and i was wondering if it is possible to jailbreak a ps4 with firmware 6.00. My ps4 only accepts 6.00 when i put another firmware on my usb stick and try tp upgrade it doesn´t accept it. it says firmware 6.00 or higher is needed.
What can i do in this case

You can play all the latest games if you pay for them...
Nothing more.

You have firmware version 6.00 installed on your Playstation 4. There is no way to go back now. The security chip inside the PlayStation 4 prevents any kind of downgrades hence why you need atleast 6.00 (it allows reinstallation to same firmware) or a higher firmware for updates or reinstallations of the PlayStation 4. You cannot go back to a lower firmware version however.

The only thing you can do is buy a second PlayStation 4 with firmware version 5.05/5.07 and below. Use the exploit there and use update blocker to prevent accidental firmware updates (would also recommend disabling automatic firmware downloads in Settings - System - Automatic Downloads).

Thank you very much both monadproxy ecspecialy. now i know what is going on.

Can the chip not be flashed somehow? I think there is a little battery on the mainboard actually if tha battery is removed for a few days it should flash the security chip. What do you think?

The chip cannot be flashed. So far everyone trying to do this with soldering techniques and other chip flashing methods has entirely broken the PlayStation 4 and I'm talking about the developers that brought us HEN and all the other exploits. So they're trying but it's not really possible.

The battery on the mainboard is for the RTC (Realtime Clock). Its the same battery you have in your computer or notebook. It keeps the internal clock running and correct so your time in BIOS and etc is always correct. Quite some things in BIOS and the OS rely on correct time. When you remove the battery and plug it in again the clock will be out of sync and the time will simply be wrong.

The PlayStation 4 is actually nothing more than a computer running a custom FreeBSD Unix optimized for gaming :) . With the slight difference that there is a security chip that prevents a lot of tampering and makes the console useless trash when it breaks or gets broken by hacking. It even has x86 hardware that you have in your normal computer or notebook. Although a bit old and underpowered for todays measures.
