My original external HDD I use is full, rather than deleting some games can I put a second external hdd in the other port and install more games and use at the same time with App2usb exploit or do I have to switch between them?
Also do they both have to be USB 3.0

You can use one hard drive with app2usb, then format the second hard drive as external storage (set it as the install drive). I've been using this setup with 2 drives. The app2usb drive has to stay plugged to usb0.

Ba6yHulk can i ask u something
If i format 1 hard as extended storge i can connect it inn the backside of ps4pro
Then to install fpkg from another external hard drive. I just connect it and install pkg ?

Thanks for that I was led to believe that you can't use extended storage on hen?
Are you able to confirm if it works

Yes, i have one drive formatted as extended storage plugged in at all times. I use the exFAT formatted drive in usb0 with app2usb and use it to install new pkgs. I have a slim, but I would assume it works the same way.

As of hen 1.7, you can use extended storage with hen. The only issue I have found is that if you transfer a game that is on the app2usb drive to extended storage, it'll be copied to the external storage drive, but the package won't be deleted on the app2usb drive. You just have to remember to delete it yourself to free up space. Everything else has worked without hiccup.

Which payloads u have to run before
Original then hen ? Then start installing the pkgs to extended hdd?
What if u use mira+hen is the same ?

I use the cached al-azif payload server, then I just run hen. There isn't anything special you have to run. One hard drive formatted through the PS4 as external storage, the other exFAT plugged into usb0. Packages on internal storage can be transferred to the exFAT hdd in the usb0 spot the same as you would when only using one hard drive. I've never tried on Mira+hen, but I would assume it would function the same.

To install pkgs to the hdd formatted to external storage, you just have to set the external drive as the default install location through The settings menu (settings>storage>options).
