Hi I was looking for a guide to connect the pad and play with the switch, I read that it was necessary to put files in the root of the sd but I did not find adequate guides can you help me please?

the absolute best way to connect your xbox, ps4, gamecube controller to your nintendo switch, your PC is this

i have been using it for a year and its all plug and play. if i want to game on switch and then later on game on to pc it works on both

send me a link to that "guide " that is telling you to put files in your SD card

I would have liked something immediate, instead of having to order and wait there are no other ways? use sxos, sys-con not work?:(

I have used sys-con home brew app from the homebrewapp store. with my ps4 controller . ( i stopped using it cuz its wired and i wanted wireless)

but to answer your question: Sys-con does NOT work in SX OS. Atmosphere only

EDIT: Ooops.... this reply was too late, lol. Dorian covered everything already.

It actually is possible without any adapter by just installing some files on your SD card.

The source files and some support information is here.

https://github.com/cathery/sys-con

BUT, I must stress that this only allows WIRED controllers via USB. Wireless doesn't work YET. Only USB is supported.

So you CAN use a Dualshock 4, as long as you have the charge cable.

It's probably best to buy a dongle for a much simpler solution as Dorian stated.

I use a Mayflash Magic NS myself and it's great. I only wish it supported more than one DS4 simultaneous per dongle.

It's hardware you have to wait for but works so well with my ps4 controllers and is only round £10-12
