edited for 10.0.2 and 10.0.1. as it turns out. update 10.0.1 does minimal HUD sysmodules. nothing major and does not break jailbreak.

what that means is that the files provided below work with 10.0.0 and also 10.0.1

I really dont recommend anyone to update as of now. If your cfw is not broken why fix it. ?

sigpatches are on MEDIA FIRE (not girhub) and for Atmosphere (not hekate)
I still dont recommend you update as you are bound to have issues with homebrew. this thread will be edited and user comments with respective credit will be added as they come.​

Most of the previous updates did not really bring anything worth the update IMO
also there is the fact you need to update files. get your homebrew apps updated and its a little tedious
for that very reason I would usually ask to stay away from newest updates. latest i recommend as of now is 9.1.0


Now that 10.0.0 brings Button mapping I will be following homebrew apps more closely in order to safely get everyone on 10.0.0 ASAP. ( I dont know about you but i am annoyed not being able to map buttons like my PS4 controller to make gaming life easier. )

Seems to be a lot of controversy sourrounding the latest sig patches. The dev behind them has left & deleted his github. Some installers not working. Also hearing you have to launch atmosphere using fusee payload or modified hekate which dev made & deleted to get sig patches to work. Wandering if OP an update his post or provide link to modfied hekate.

I do not recommend you update ( i always say this when a firmware has just released)

This is what happened. sigpatches work fine if you launch CFW with fusee-primary.bin. said sigpatches were giving errors to Hekate users. and did not work. issue is you needed to use Hekate sigpatches.

what to I do and recommend ? use fusee primary 99 of the time except ( when you actually need Hekate like dual boot- disable auto RCM-

if you can stay away while the drama settles down would be the best option. if not the sigpatches on my link are for fusee-primary
 
When I try to launch Animal Crossing New Horizons I am prompted with the system update. Can I play ACNH without updating? If so I would appreciate help.
 
@ichi yes you can play without updating.
stay in 9.1.0 or even 9.2.0 while all the dust settles in 10.0.0

Sorry but how do I play the game without updating? Every time I try to launch the game it prompts me to download or cancel the download. I'm 9.2.0.
 
this thread is for firmware 10.0.0 talk only. NOT for animal crossing.
you arent the first to have this issue. go to the ACNH thread read the comments and follow the advice. if you still cant fixt it open a new thread and feel free to tag me ( by puttin @ then my name ) i will help you
 
So I just updated my official firmware and now everything crashes again... sigh. Everything was going so smoothly...
 
I updated to 10.0 purely for the button assignment feature, Boo, doesnt work with third party Hori Joycons!

Has anyone updated from 10.0.0 to 10.0.1 yet? If so how did that go for you. Last time I updated I had to reinstall EVERYTHING. I do not want to do that again, but I also want to get rid of the update pop up whenever I play a game.

no need to update at all. in fact most of us dont even update till later when everything is stable. i myself am on 9.1.0 cfw
and i will probably stay on 9.1.0 till i cant play newer games anymore.

that update pop up totally belongs to something else. follow one of my guides to stop automatic firmware downloads. and to set up 90dns

So... I just updated to OFW 10.0.1 and Atmos 0.12.0

everything is great except for some of my games need sig patch updates. Does anyone know where I can get those?

I'm playing catch up here I'm still on 9.1 so apologies but what about 10.0.2? Where do I find that and also the latest Atmopshere + patches to go with it?
