I can't seem to turn on my switch anymore. It appears unresponsive when I turn it on. When using TegraRcmGUI the screen loads the payload (hekate) for a second then the screen turns black. Sometimes it shows another loading screen for atmosphere for another split second.

I had just booted up hekate for the first time, turned auto rcm on, backed up my nand, and turned it off so I could transfer the backup to my pc. My switch is an unpatched model.

Anyonw know how to get my switch working again?

your issue is too broad to pin point
if tegrarcm is able to detect your switch then you are not bricked
if you see atmosphere splash screen you are definetly not bricked
go to this web site and set up your SD card with legit Atmosphere files. ( I dont know if you got your dumb files from a YT channel )
https://sdsetup.com/

make sure to delete what ever previous files you had on your SD card ( do a clean install, Do not copy and replace existing files )

Okay so I'm able to consistently boot up the hekate menu, but can't launch. The kosmos screen appears for a second followed by the sept screen.

I do notice that in the more settings (or something like that) selection, just right of launch on hekate keeps saying that it can't detect hekate_ipl.ini . It's certainly named correctly and in the correct folder path. I'm not sure if that information is relevant, but I noticed it a few times.

so you see Hekate menu... do not mess with anything else other than PAYLOADS
tap on payloads and a "select payload to launch screen should pop up "
select Fusee-primary.bin and CFW should load

If you do not see Fusee-primary.bin do this and download it

Now select it on tegra RCM and inject that payload
