New 1TB MicroSD messed everything up :(

Hi, recently I bought a seemingly legit 1TB MicroSD and moved all of my folders and contents from my old 512GB SD to the new one in order to have more space to install twice as many games.
Now nothing works anymore and when I try to boot the console using TegraRCM and Atmosphere I receive the following message,
imgur.com/a/D67vbO1
I checked on Google and forums without any success.
I was on FW 10.0 updated via Choi, and played even most of the latest titles smoothly.
At the moment the console won't reboot with the power button and the only thing left to do is just turning it off by keeping the power button pressed for a few seconds.
Has anything similar ever happened to any member by switching to high capacity microSD?
Is there anything I could possibly do?
Thanks in advance for your help and sorry for my English, I really hope I managed to explain my problem.

Do you have the latest patches for Atmosphere and latest Atmosphere that matches your firmware?

Are you saying you updated everything worked then you changed sd cards or you changed sd cards then updated?

I was able to upgrade from 128 gb to 512 gb without a problem just by copying everything from old sd to computer, formatting the new sd card and copying everything to new sd card. The only possibilities that I can think of are it's a fake card or you don't the firmware setup with the correct patches yet.

I updated some weeks ago and everything worked superfine until I had this greeeeeeaaaat idea to move everything to a larger 1TB MicroSD, but now nothing works even when I switch back to the old 512GB one. Should I try reinstalling Atmo and its patches on the old one ?

What firmware did you update to and what source are you getting the atmosphere patches from? There were some bad ones that I couldn't get to work on 11.0.1 that's why I'm asking.

I would try reinstalling Atmosphere first, but it's not a big deal to try the other card you can switch back and forth and both SHOULD work although you said neither works but switching them back and forth won't effect anything.

What format are you using exfat or fat32? Are you sure the new card is formatted correctly to whichever one you use? I recommend fat32 because exfat can cause sd card corruption. You only have to learn to usb install your games on fat32 which is easier and better anyway IMO.

I stopped updating after FW10 because most of the games I play worked fine, I think it's a matter of MicroSD, also I made sure it was properly formatted before moving all the files there from the old one.
Have you seen the error image I posted in the imgur link? It's gibberish to me but maybe someone here can figure it out.

Exfat or Fat32?

Just by the exception I don't know I googled it but couldn't find anyone else that had it. It does say fusee towards the bottom which could indicate problem with patches.

May i ask how much you payed for it
if its was under £175 then its probably fake most are just fw hacked cards with a true capacity of only 8 - 32gb
if you can get atoms running on it best to try and put a couple of hundred gb of games then goto manager storage on your switch
and see if it actually copy anything if its fake you will see the game icon but it will have 0gb of data
as it runs out of space at its true capacity

Last time i heard of someone using a 1tb sd with switch it basically melted in their switch.....

Yes it was around 60 euros... suspiciously cheap indeed... :( Do you think is there any hope to re-enstablish the old setup on the previous MicroSD? Is there any real chance fo it to have caused any damage on the console?

No your switch should be fine
Best to reformat the 1tb card to fat32 or exfat depending on what your switch was on this is important or it won't work properly then just try and copy the basic files back then put one game at a time on it and check data management to see if its actual copied
Hopefully you backed up all your data if so it a simple matter of just copying it back to your old memory card to get it running again

That card is obviously fake, IMO he should not be using it at all. 60 euros does not get you a real 1 tb sd card.

yep totally agree 60 euros is way to cheap
but the only way people learn is to try and use it then they see why it was so cheap

These scammers make me sick they're stealing with these scam sd cards, and it seems they usually get away with it so they have no incentive to stop.

If the price is too good to be true the card is too good to be legit.

yeah no point in buying cheap cards the biggest scammers are on ebay so difficult to see what's genuine and what's fake
tbh i bought mine from a well know retailer argos didnt care it was a bit more expensive then i could get it for online
works well and i no its genuine plus its guaranteed so if get any problems with it its just a matter of a 10 min drive and it would be sorted same day

The worst thing is that I got it from Amazon, as in "sold and shipped by Amazon" otherwise I wouldn't have even touched it, but they were having sales and it looked completely legit. I'll try to reinstall all of the basic files and restart the console with the jig procedure but for now all it does is just keeping stuckat that error number list mumbo-jumbo I screenshot earlier. The fake card must have corrupted all the files though so maybe I lost 500GB of games and saves I'm afraid.

Did you not backup on your pc before transferring
Files to new memory card if you did just stick it back on your old card
Did you delete the data on old card ?

wow i payed $198 for 1 tb card no problem for 60 no way thats real send it back

alright, quick update, my SD backup was taken from the corrupted 1TB sd so unfortunately most of the files are 0kb and obviously not working... which files should I put back into the old Sd to get it to work again ? I had Hekate, Horizon, Awoo and Choidujour on FW 10.1, any suggestion would be more than welcome, thanks in advance !
