Game Name: Mega Man X Collection
Codebreaker Injected: NO
Widescreen: NO
Title-ID: SLUS-213.70
Size: 2.35GB
Issues: Minor flashing at the start on the game-select screen, each individual game is fine.
Notes: ... better than fine even, no stretching or false widescreen and no visual glitches, with great performance. Unlike some uploads, I test mine and I make sure my games are either patched correctly or they maintain their correct aspect ratio without being butchered.

If somebody wants to help, I can make this EVEN BETTER. I managed to almost do it earlier, but some minor gfx glitches held it back. Basically; the game as-is on PS2 forcibly applies a bilinear filter to the image. It's not bad, nothing like a "soft SAI" upscale, that's for sure, but still.. not the crisp delicious pixels we all know and love. With the following commands I was able to get phenomenally delicious pixels;

--gs-uprender=2x2
--gs-upscale=none
--gs-kernel-cl-up="up2x2skipinterp"

However, this results in the game display getting a dithering effect on the screen whenever you stop moving, or during scenes where the screen is meant to go dim. If I swap --gs-kernel-cl-up="up2x2skipinterp" to --gs-kernel-cl-up="up2x2simple" then we get delicious pixels, no dithering, perfect screen-dim ... BUT! Sprite corruption in Mega Man X6. Could even be more than just X6. It's not major corruption, but it's definitely noticeable and once you notice it, you can't not see it :\

Anyone with experience with PS2emu commands have any ideas?

This has been deleted from Zippy too. Whoever downloaded it, please rehost or else it's gone for good.

Thank you :) No chance of *all* files being deleted then -- and if you're ever going to use Zippy; use abbreviations or some other less easily identifiable file name for the RARs.

Actually I have a decent upload speed and reuploading them won't bother me. I can do it everytime they get deleted.

When we share something like this, don't ever expect download links will remain forever. Dont worry man, I got you backup for what you've shared with us.

Maybe a Capcom spy here...

I dont know why so much precious about it, since they sell this emulated games on new system and have their paying audience already. And emulation is here and there and not hurting their resells for this already over paid stuff from decades ago. Emulation helps stays alive their games and promote them to a new audience, even from a underground one, like that in question. If not this and internet they are not going to get extra money these days from that, it would be forgot stuff.
