Hi.
I have a question.
800gb of games are on the internal drive of my ps4. If I create a backup to the external storage, will I be able to use the backup on another ps4? Maybe a stupid question because otherwise a backup has no purpose. But u never know. And if there are games that are already copied to the external, will the ps4 tell me this? Will it prompt that the game already exists on the external drive?

The only way to do something like that is use app2usb. But then the games will be on the external and not on the internal. Otherwise PS4 games only work on the one PS4 and won't work on another one.

I tried it and was not a fan of it but that's me. I just prefer using the PS4 to format the hard drive but then it only works on that PS4.

Activate the consoles user to be able to save games etc.. then back up games, apps and saves in ps4 backup then on another ps4 activate the same user the user (ie) your user code is in the saves you can see your save data if you plug into pc and view your save files the 16 digit number is your personal user code download ps4 activation tool the activate the other ps4 then restore all back up save data there are tutorials on how to activate ps4 for save data just use your person user code

Don't you have to connect it online and be on latest fw to activate console user? What good would that do?
