I currently have 2 PS4 Pros 1 on 5.05, the other on OFW (also a 360 & PSP). I've been seeing a lot of switch games get posted on the forum so i been thinking about getting a switch but i never owned one and have no idea how it works. Can anyone tell me if it's worth it ? Also, can i play every game released on it if i get it jailbroken? Is it easy to jailbreak? Is there a specific switch i have to buy to make sure its on the right firmware to be able to jailbreak? Where can i buy it? Any information on the switch will be highly appreciated.

hello mate i was reluctant to buy them for the kids at xmas but we did and they are great! they are quite over priced but they are awsome!

you will need to buy one from 2nd hand shop now if you want to hack it though as newer ones are patched. there is a list of SAFE serial numbers out there and this will help you choose the right device.

i brought one from a big electronics store and it wasnt hackable so we took it back and went to 2nd hand shop paid the same money but it was hackable. then brought a fast 128gb sd card for it (£16 from some camera website) ive been on it more than the kids lol they love it too but they tend to play 2 player on 1 device mainly.

Are there any games that aren't for kids? I always saw the Wii / Switch as a console for kids

well im 32 mate and i love it lol... smashed pokemon in 20 hours lol reminded me of being a kid again. super smash bros is the best game nintendo have ever done IMO
most mario games are good
its great for family games and party games

not so many games like COD etc though

Is there anyway i can buy an unpatched one online? Maybe a specific bundle?

I do think its worth for now , 80% of nsw games are indie games (75% exist on pc)
He has other good games like Doom , La Noire , Dark Souls , Skyrim , Resident Evil , Outlast (but they are already on ps4 5.05)
The only exclusive good games on nsw : Zelda , Xenoblade Chronicles 2

If 80% are indie games & most are on pc, i don't see it being worth it. I'm debating whether to get the switch or ps vr since they're about the same price. Another great thing about the switch is the emulation but i got a psp so most emulator can be run on that

Psp emulate psx games better than switch

lol invite your friends over.... give then 1 of the controllers.... tada... 2 player or more if you have more controls lol

In my opinion the switch is worth it. There are games for almost anybody. Being portable you can play your games on the go... when you get home dock the switch and continue your game on your TV. wireless controls are amazing and intuitive.
Game library took a little while to take off but there are some original and remastered games. plus home brew emulators
The selection of indie games is great now you have arcade games such as SNK metal slug, aerofighters etc, emulation of SNES, NES, PSx and many more with retroarch is amazing plus the many more at the homebrew apps possibilities are endless
make no mistake the nintendo switch is not a ps4/xbox in terms of hardware. by no means shall it be compared in terms of graphics and FPS.
is the switch a console for kids . . . Yes and no. . . there are many games for kids that can be enjoyed by adults, Mario kart or fortnite for example.
for adults. Dark Souls, Salt and Sanctuary, resident evil 1 and 2, xenoblades, zelda, BOTW, DOOM, Bloodstained curse of the moon, Diablo 3 etc etc
For RPG Fans a bunch of Final Fantasy game has been announced. FF7, FF9, FFX. FFX2

with homebrew i can install a video player ( download your movies, anime or even your x tittle if you are into that ) , a music player, a theme creator. now i am able to create my own themes with photos of whatever I choose,
it took me 2 years to finally buy a switch and I don t regret it. by the way the demand for consoles is so high that the price hasnt changed in 3 years since it came out.
