Like using my computer like a seederHow else do you want to install it? Give us some input atleast. Like what are you ideas if you don't want to use USB storage devices.
The problem is that there is some games that needs tooo much space .. And yeah tnx for help ^^So you basically want to create a file share on your computer with the FPKG files of games and etc and make it available to the PS4 over the network to install games from it?
There is the FTP exploit payload that will allow to access your PS4 filesystem via a FTP client. From there you could bascially somewhere upload the FPKG file to the PS4 but at this point the question is will the PS4 detect it? I doubt it will.
What's wrong with USB 3.0 storage?
TL;DR: Forget trying to attempt to install games, apps or anything else via FTP. The game package installer is only looking for USB devices!
Waaw this biig enjoy ^^Ah, yes. This problem. I have 1x 1 TB filled up, 1x 500 GB filled up and now got a 750 GB HDD for new content. So 3 HDDs (~ 2.25 TB) just for PS4 games and my PS4 has 2 TB HDD.
Niice i will think about it or maybe just buy 128 gb usbi use an old laptop hdd that i put in a super cheap 2,5" usb3 enclosure
Damn its the third time srry xDThe tutorial section is not for asking questions, it is for posting tutorials
please post any inquiries or requests you may have in their respective sections

No the moderator change the place of the thread lolI saw that you opened another topic on the same subject again in the tutorials forum.
The answer still is: the game package installer that is used to install games, apps and themes only looks for USB devices. You cannot install anything over the network and the installer will not detect FPKG files if you transfer them to the PS4 over the FTP payload.
So you have to get a USB 3.0 storage device like a USB flash drive or a external HDD. These aren't expensive. You can get used 2.5" interals HDDs for very cheap and use them with a cheap USB 3.0 enclosure.
Yeaah im doo dooYou did create the same topic again and again the wrong forum. See https://ayakalounge.me/threads/game-instalation.3774/
The moderator did the right thing and moved this (your first topic on this subject) to the right forum because you asked a question but didn't post a tutorial. So this topic doesn't belong into the tutorial forum.
I remember ftp'ing files to a pkg folder on my ps3 and installing PSN packages from there. So you basically want to create a file share on your computer with the FPKG files of games and etc and make it available to the PS4 over the network to install games from it?
