Atmosphere and Daybreak.nro will be used to upgrade ​

In this tutorial I will show you how to upgrade to firmware 16.0.0 without burning fuses.
I made an ALLinOnePackage rar file . It contains everything you will need so you dont have to do anything i.e { sigpatches, fuseeprimary, hekate bootloader, Daybreak homebrew app and even the FIRMWARE file} you DO NOT NEED TO look for sigpatches. they are included already


This tutorial will be made with the safest method possible. Daybreak.nro i will NO longer user ChoidjourNX. in other words the file you will download will only be compatible with daybreak.

How to prepare for the update : DO NOT Proceed if you havent done this
1) make sure you uninstall any themes you might have installed with themeinstallerNX BEFORE proceeding ahead. if you havent installed any themes go ahead without worries.
2) if you have a game cartridge INSIDE your switch take it OUT.
3) If you have any tesla modules or cheats well disable.
4) Remember: I test this on my own units first. before I provide any files. I use the most stable versions .

NOTES:
IF you want to play game cartridges your sysnand and emunand have to be in the SAME FIRMWARE VERSION

IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH DBI AND OR GOLDLEAF YOU HAVE TO UPDATE DBI.NRO AND ALSO THE PC.EXE PROGRAM. IT SEEMS 16.0.0 BROKE SOMETHING AND THE HOMEBREW APP HAS BEEN UPDATED SINCE.


I took have updated AMS to full release and also provided the updated DBI app. for those who do not wish to download my pack again go ahead and just update dbi on your own .
 
Got problems with goldleaf but thats ok, im useing also Awooinstaler. it works gr8! thanks for easy guide ! Regards!

Goldleaf is dead anyway, it's not compatible with some newer type installation types.

was 16.0.2 already out? Any plan for atmosphere 1.5.2? Thanks.

Yes I plan to update. The thing about my update guides is that unless a firmware brings something really cool then I will update.

or if required for games then i will update.

but if firmware doesnot bring anything or is not required by games i usually stay with the most stable.

also some homebrew apps dont update right away and thats another reason i dont update firmware guides as often, its to avoid people from having issues
 
friendly reminder I am STILL right now using this firmware. you do NOT need to update to the latest everytime a new firmware comes up

I no to update because I always use the most stable ( updated ) homebrew apps.

this guide is outdated ( I mean it works and will work on 16.x firmware just not for 17.XX) i will make a new one for 17.0.0 as soon as atmosphere full-release is available

2 things here

1) you do not need to be updating ALLinOnePack or anything at all, Once you use this guide you are good to go until games start to need a higher firmware.

what this means is that you can stay on firmware 16.0.0 for months and months unless new games start needing it. i am still on 16.0.0


2) whenever I make guides i make them with the most stable version of homebrew. meaning they will work till the day you need to update

PS YOU GUYS DO NOT NEED TO BE UPDATING EVERY TIME A NEW FIRMWARE COMES, AS I AM PERFECTLY FINE ON FIRMWARE 16.0.0 NO NEED FOR 16.0.1 16.0.2 16.1.0 YOU HAVE NO NEED FOR IT AS THEY DONT BRING ANYTHING USEFUL ONLY BREAK CFW. and thats one of reasons why i dont make a new guide everytime a new firmware is released. because new firmwares dont bring anythin useful at all. you are way better off staying on 16.0.0 like I am untill a new firmware comes along

in todays case I will make a new guide for 17.0.0 only when atmosphere is in full release and hekate and sigpatches along with homebrew apps are updated and working without issues.
