how to update correctly

hello everyone
just need to ask , i downloaded this game just cause updated to 1.05 after the installation i checked the game information i found out that it's v 1.00
and it's not the only game every game that's merge with an update same result
is it normal

You could say this is normal. I have also experienced this with scene uploads where updates were merged into the FPKG. I cannot expain why it is so though. Maybe the merge process takes the version number from the base rather than from the update files.

In the scene uploads where I experienced this I made sure the version is right by ingame version numbers that are shown sometimes in settings and etc (GTA V in my case with Update 1.27 integrated).

Wrong forum by the way. This isn't a guide.
