Hello, and thank you in advance. Im looking for help to a head-scratching problem that i have been having for days.

I have a 500GB Internal HD on Firmware 5.05. I also have a 2TB External HD. The Internal drive is full so I am looking to backup my games and run them from my external. I have been following this Tut -> by MODDED WARFARE which is excellent btw.

I also have Stooged's AppToUsb-50X that I have been using the .ini from.

When loading Al-Azif's exploits from the User's Guide I can run 5.05 and see a payload for App2USB. When When I initially ran it I found that the packages were downloading on to the External HD instead of skipping.

Seeing as I was following the Tut and already had the fpks in the correctly labeled CUSA folders I stopped the download by turning off the system (with the controller) after the first game finished transferring.

I went back into the .ini and realized i didn't save after I uncommented the CHECK_USB. So I uncommented and tried again. Still didn't work.

I figured I would split my luck and just let download so I removed the app.pkg files from all of the CUSA folders and let App2USB re-downloaded everything. It started up fine and worked at about 82MB's. I returned a few hours later to discover that nothing had been downloaded onto my HD...

I realized I forgot to Re-comment the // in the .ini file. So I re-commented and went to try again. This time I don't receive any notice of transfer, just 3 ... and then it skips to the next file. it doesn't even say its skipping. the entire process runs runs for about 1:30.

I have continued to try alternative ways however nothing seems to be working. Whats worse is several of the games no longer function and have controllers instead of icon pics.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to remedy this situation?

Perhaps my lack of knowledge in this area can lead others to benefit with a proper procedure to follow.

Many Thanks for reading and any assistance!

P.S. It might help to state that I am Using a Mac with Parallels booted into Windows 8.1 for reference

I also watched and using ModdedWarfare method, but I think it doesn't work anymore on stooged 5.05 App2USB, as I noticed that .pkg files are no longer named "app.pkg" they're renamed to "[original file name].pkg" and it also move the icons and some info to the USB.
also, If you have the file named app.pkg it will rename it and move the meta then skip the file, and if the .pkg was on the root file it will move it to the CUSAXXXXX folder and move the meta then skip the file.
Regardless to any of that, what I want to say that there's no problem with App2USB.
maybe it's because of this:
I stopped the download by turning off the system (with the controller) after the first game finished transferring.
as the first notification you get from App2USB is to unplug your USB to cancel, it might broke you're USB or PS4 system file.
what I recommend is to try to format your USB "exFAT of course ^^" and try again, if this doesn't help try to initialize your PS4, or wait for someone else, maybe someone had the same as your situation and he solved it.
Hope everything works out for you buddy ^^
