I purchased Assassins Creed Odyssey but is demanding ver 5.55. I am currently on FW 5.05 as most of us probably are. Im not going to ask is there a 5.55 crack dont panic. but is there a way for me to trick the game into thinking im running 5.55 or to stop the FW check on the game so i can rip the game and even better play it

There is no way to play games on FW 5.05 that require a higher FW version. You need a second console that you can use just for legit bought gamesa that need a higher FW version.
The security chip that bascially controls all of this on the PlayStation 4 has not been fully hacked so far. So it is simply impossible to spoof anything to be able to play games that need a higher FW version.

Impossible so far as stated above unfortunately. There is payload's that spoof the firmware's revision higher or the pkg you may have seen recently (orbisman) and that's still in beta, it only changes the firmware number you see so to speak not actual modifications to the actual firmware on the system itself.
I'm hoping in the future that will spoof properly to allow higher firmware game's to be run on lower firmware but don't count on it!
I'm from the 360 scene (JTAG, rgh etc) and new to ps4 but I think personally with the ps3 scene being so big and the history of what happened with Sony and geohot, ps4 dev scene seems a bit skeptical. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm thankful for what we already have! Dev's have worked hard to achieve what we already have! Can't thank them enough
