Hi, so before I get to the reason I came here, it is important to introduce myself so here I go:
Feel free to ask me anything I am fairly laid back and hope to make some good connections and contribute a few things myself.
- I am a University student in the UK, Studying Computing, Programming and Computer Science
- I am going to work in either software development or cybersecurity/penetration testing
- favourite anime? to be honest I havent watched a great deal other than Tri gun, Titan and the first anime type thing I ever watched was a Dead Space animation before I even knew there was a Dead Space game series
- My 2 main interests are Programming and Gaming, sometimes in reverse order
- I am into game cracking, modding and open source sharing with others
- I code with Python mainly, but can get by with basics of a few other languages.
- I run Windows 10 for gaming and coursework, but I also really like to use Linux a lot (Kali and Ubuntu depending on what I am doing). I have learnt that Windows suits a lot of things better than Linux and vice versa depending on what you are doing so instead of being like "I hate windows", or "Linux is the best" I get the best of both worlds and use both a lot!
- I found Dark Software because I asked a question on another site relating to a repacked version of a game and a bunch of do-gooders didn't like it. I searched for a community where I might fit in better
- Favourite games? a few are: Destiny and Destiny 2, Skyrim, Fallouts NV and 4, Bioshock 2 and Infinite, Borderlands 2 and TPS, Elite Dangerous, Euro Truckers, and many any more
- I like Metal music, play guitar a bit, made it through an audition for death metal band Agrona, and my confidence issues prevented me from gigging on stage, I stopped playing after that and started coding
- I am from the UK
- My hobbies are digital electronics, coding in Python, Gaming of course, and messing with my Raspberry Pi
Feel free to ask me anything I am fairly laid back and hope to make some good connections and contribute a few things myself.
