Game Name: .Hack // Quadrilogy
Codebreaker Injected: YES
Widescreen: YES
Title-ID: SLUS-202.67 // SLUS-205.62 // SLUS-205.63 // SLUS-205.64
Size: 13.7GB
Issues: None that I noticed.
Notes: NTSC-U releases running at 60hz to prevent PS2emu 50hz uneven framepacing. Artwork and idea by @Crazy Potato, used with absolute respect :)

!!Multi-Disc PKG!!

Hold PS button and select "Change Discs" to swap between each game in the series.

[Disc1] .hack//Infection - Part 1
[Disc2] .hack//Mutation - Part 2
[Disc3] .hack//Outbreak - Part 3
[Disc4] .hack//Quarantine - Part 4

Each game has been injected with Codebreaker. When you first run the game, or switch disc, it will run uLaunchELF, allowing you to run Codebreaker and select cheats for the game should you so wish.
  • Press O to load File Manager.
  • Navigate to "CDFS" and then "--ELF--" folder and run CODEBR~1.ELF
  • Codebreaker will launch and allow you to select cheats for .Hack // <GAME>
  • Once you've selected your cheats, press START (right-side of trackpad on DS4) and go to the disc icon.
  • When Codebreaker asks you to "Please Insert Game" just press X to launch your game with cheats applied.
  • The game will reboot to the uLaunchELF menu. This time rather than opening "--ELF--" folder, simply scroll down the list and select SLUS_20x.xx, depending on which game you're on, to run your game :)

If you don't want to use Codebreaker at all, just run SLUS_20x.xx from the "CDFS" menu and skip "--ELF--" altogether.

You must click 'Like' before you can see the hidden data contained here

Much better, yes :) This one has no performance issues that I can tell ... though, obviously, I haven't been able to play through the entire game just to test. There *may* be large bosses at the end with performance issues, if there's performance issues on PS2 :)

thanks man , can u do the same with xenosaga?? already download it from @Crazy Potato thread but i found out that opening scene in episode 3 was very laggy with red/green line in the middle of the screen, maybe you can do something about it??

I've been playing the SLES version and it runs flawlessly so far, though should be better in a 60hz gameplay. I'll give it a try, bro.

BTW, if you ever try to do the Xenosaga Saga --heh heh heh--, I have the UNDUB versions.

It depends on how sensitive you are to framerate and framepacing. Any PAL/EUR title that doesn't have 60hz support will be running at native 50hz, which the PS2emu then tries to force to 60hz, resulting in incorrect framepacing and "judder" - some don't notice it, to others - like me - it's like somebody sticking a pin in my eyes. Over and over and over and over.

Unfortunately I doubt there's much I can do to help, the Xenosaga games are incredible strenuous even for base PS2 hardware, and the performance issues in Xenosaga 3 are well known.I can look into it, but I can't promise anything.

Hm! As the mortal I am, you seem very insight on this. I'll trust you. Thanks for the reply :)

As I said, I can look into Xeno.. but there are definite visual issues and performance problems down the line.

*sigh* :(

Okay..

1) please don't make requests in game threads, it's tacky and rude :\
2) please read the psdevwiki for compatibility. Radiata Stories is unplayable.

Star Ocean 3/Til the End of Time requires patches to get around the worst of the graphical glitches and performance issues. Nobody has yet uploaded the PS2 Classic version for me to acquire the fixes. I made a PKG of it but the framerate and general jankiness was unpleasant, so I scrapped it.

So, no. I won't be doing Legend of Legaia any time soon. Come on, man :( I don't mind filling requests, in fact I enjoy it, but in their proper place - otherwise it just comes across as ungrateful.

"oh, yeah, this one is alright but do that one instead."

... and it also means I have to deal with replies and troubleshooting and explanations that aren't related to the game in the OP, yanno?

Thanks for this. Just so you know the codebreaker isn't seeming to work though. Once you click on the disk it tells you to insert disk and then press X. When you press X it says loading and then freezes. Without using codebreaker disk 1 seems fine so far.
