Please upload god of war 2...can you do that as soon as possible?and if yes,when?I am a huge fan of God of War 2 and so eager to have and play it on ps4 and also have old memories with this game...

GOW 2 has its own problems & issues. I've managed to create a working version with no lag but graphic issues still persist which spoils gameplay. So don't expect these to be fixed anytime soon.

Just like GOW1 that this guy made an impressive and fantastic work,I have faith that our brothers in sparta will live on through the true god of war...sorry my mistake I mean that seeing a working god of war 2 version is not far from abilities of this guy.I brought faith in this guy by seeing a working version of god of war 1...

I realy do not have the equipments to do these commands,so be a dear and upload gow2 yourself like gow1.can you please?

Sorry,my english is not so good and I was not going to insult anyone.my mistake...
I was just going to say that I can not do those commands to gow2,so if you just please upload gow2.I am impatiently wating to play this game on my ps4,forgive me bros.but I beg you to upload this game as soon as possible,will you @Vitt0xLar ?

@Vitt0xLar I tried yout configs but the game is super slow. It freezes when I select language. I can not get into gameplay. I think something in the lua is doing this. I've tried different commands.

If you try the cli.conf from first God of war the game will work fine but has blurry character models.

theese are the same configs from the first one, i changed something to patch the charater models.

Then try with:

cli.conf

--vu-d-bit=1
--vu-t-bit=1
--vu1-di-bits=1
--vu1-mpg-cycles=800
--vu1-injection=1
--vu1-jr-cache-policy=newprog
--vu1-jalr-cache-policy=newprog
--ee-block-validation=PageProt
--ee-hook=0x186B64,AdvanceClock
--ee-hook=0x186CE4,AdvanceClock
--gs-frontend-opt-mode=2
--fpu-rsqrt-fast-estimate=1

config.lua

-- God Of War 2 EU

apiRequest(2.2) -- request version 0.1 API. Calling apiRequest() is mandatory.

local gpr = require("ee-gpr-alias")
local emuObj = getEmuObject()
local gsObj = getGsObject()

-- Disable internal field shift compensation, part of post-process removal feature.
gsObj.SetDeinterlaceShift(0)

emuObj.SetGsTitleFix( "forceSimpleFetch", "reserved", { texMode=2 } ) --texMode=2 is BILINEAR

@Vitt0xLar I'll test the configs later.

@Vitt0xLar I've tested your configs.

Using the following lua with each commands on with uprender on
emuObj.SetGsTitleFix( "forceSimpleFetch", "reserved", { texMode=1 } ) --texMode=1 ?
emuObj.SetGsTitleFix( "forceSimpleFetch", "reserved", { texMode=2 } ) --texMode=2 is BILINEAR
emuObj.SetGsTitleFix( "ignoreUpRender" , "reserved", { } )

you will still get corrupted lines, blurry background & framerate drops during combat

You must have uprender set to none to remove corrupted lines & game playable.

Edit.. Using all of the commands together with uprender on works with no corrupted lines but there is now massive slowdown during combat scenes only.

Also can you share a me game save of it?
Because i don't want to see the intro cutscene every time.
Thank you.

I did not get any freezes just slowdown during combat. Only tested early game. I don't know how dump a ps2 gamesave on ps4.

I can confirm that one of theese tre commands or 2 of them or all of them, i don't know, will fix corrupted lines caused by upscaler on every PAL GAME, this mean that you will not have to play Ps2 games at lower resolution.
Tested on Scarface the word is yours.

I'll test your theory with some pal games that uprender causes issues on. In regards to GOW 2 i recommend playing with uprender off.

Why? it doesn't affect the fps.
Anyway i think the real fix is one of them and i think it could be third one, but i'm not sure, so my advide is to try them one by one to see what it is the real one.
