Exploit questions

Hi all, I have been watching the scene for a bit now. I just gave a few shirt questions before I do anything.

1- I have a ps4 with an old firmware below 3 anyway. Am.i better with 4.55 or 5.05 does 5.05 have all the same capabilities as 4.55 but with a better selection of he's?

2 - can I use a 2.0 external hdd or do I need to buy a new one?

3- once exploited is the console region free or do I need to use all pkgs in my region?

4- lastly what is the best tutorial to follow from start to finish that includes how to use pkgs etc...

1) ive used 4.05 - 5.05 and dont see any difference, couple of kernel panic which ive had on all 3 firmwares.

2) i fitted a 2tb internal to my std ps4 but note it has to be the slim version of 2.5" some 4TB drives dont fit! i know....

3) any regions work without problems.

4) no idea... you tube i suppose? Search Al-Azif self host and install offline jailbreak i guess. I went with cheap wifi module.

Cheers, I've been waiting hoping for cfw but to be fair the exploit seems pretty stable, the HDD drive question though is because I have an d 1tb HDD that I used to use on my zgemma Freeview box but now I don't so was hoping it would work to save me buying one. Thanks for the help so far though

I read you can use APP2USB to install games TO external HDD but i remember when firmware went either from 4.05 to 4.55 or 4.55 to 5.05 (cant remember which) it broke app2usb which meant had to wait for a fix before you could play of the ext hdd again.

personally i think its cheap enough to buy a 2tb internal drive.

Can someone please make a Tuto on how to transfer games that you already had on your ps4 to your external hard drive with app2usb(games already install on ps4 HDD and just want to select some of them not all)

So just to update, I went for 5.05 so I could play some newer games. I'm currently using Al azif DNS cached so it's always offline.
Couple of questions now that I'm up and running,

I have only installed 1 game to test as it was a small file (GTA 3) it runs 100% so packages all seem ok

I have created a few themes with theme editor, however

1. The them resets to the standard theme when I power off, is this because the exploit resets?

2. The sound files I have used on the them don't work and it plays the standard sounds/music on my custom themes

3. I downloaded some themes from this forum but they seem to be locked and ask me to sign in to PSN?

Can I I rename the packages from cusa9999 etc... To something I will recognise from the usb when installing? For example the game name?

Are the games from **** ok to run or are they retail?
