Error codes, repair possible.

Hi And thanks for reading.

I updated to 6.72 from 5.05 using an update file by going into ps4 safe mode and selecting option 3 to update software.
A message popped up saying there was something wrong with the update, but it was just the one time and i had heard about 6.72 being buggy, the operating system seemed to be working fine.
Downloaded the 6.72 update again in a re-attempt, but the ps4 ignores the update and refuses to install it.
Ps4 does state system software is 6.72
So i moved forward. i installed alazif and it seemed to work, but now i am getting the problem that all the games i installed on the ps4 internal hard drive work fine, all the ones on the extended storage connected via front panel usb do not work and give the error code ce-38612-0
This hard drive is almost new, seagate barracuda 4tb.
What could have happened. is there something wrong with alazif, does it not recognise external usb.
Is it possible the hard drive is corrupt, how could this have happened. Is there a repair.
Is it possible to roll back to 5.05

i am hoping it is not that, hoping it is a fault in the hen, perhaps it does not support extended storage.
What do you think about getting rid of alazif and moving onto Leeful's exploit. He seems to be more active.
Games on ps4 internal hard drive work, games on extended storage connected by front panel usb do not work, give error code CE-38612-0. I try to go into debug settings i get error code CE-30129-5.
I try to install a game via package installer i get error code CE-41798-9, the same game that installed and worked perfectly on 5.05
Wish i had stayed on 5.05, and there is no way to roll back.

Sounds like a real bummer bro, I use leeful's exploit my self, and like you where saying about him being active it gets update often, one just needs to be on the ball when they come out because the webpage dosnt update automatic. Have 4tb Toshiba hd for external my self, havent had any problems that didn't have a way to fix though, had all my game disapear when i updated to 6.72 but where still taking up space on hd.
Also Alazif dosnt use hen i belive only mirra ... with a bit of luck that might be what was causing it.

Think you can get the games back by going into hen and using database restore. Few tutorials on it, see youtube

cheers man, think I ended up to runnin some kind of python script from mi pc to fix it, member it scared me though
