Decide between Pegascape and Atmosphere

Hi,

I'm about buying a new hackable Switch, i have to choose between :
1- Switch smash bros edition 4.1.0 hacked with pegascape (patched on SSNC) in very good condition
2- Switch 8.1.0 hacked with atmosphere (Safe) in good condition

What the difference between this methods? i've heard with atmosphere its more safe than pegascape, i don't know

if both switches are good serial number get the switch smash bros edition with 4.1.0 ( it can also be atmosphered hacked too)

a hand full of switches that have not been updated past 8.0.0 and the majority of the 4.x.x will be hacked with the coffee perm hack.

having a nintendo switch on 4.x.x its a gem.

things to know. pegascape is Caffeine hack. caffeine hack is another way to access atmosphere and homebrew menu. ( software hack way better than hackware hack)
so in that sense getting the lower version will open up a whole lot possibilities to permanetly hack your switch without the need of jigs and injectors and chit and chat

I don't have the serial numbers right here, but i tested them in the Switch serial number checker, the 4.1.0 switch was patched so should i take it anyway ? The other was safe

Other thing, the nand backup for switch under pegascape is absolutly necessary ?

if the 4.1.0 is patched then I would not take it. because. Caffeine rarely sees updates,
I would take the 8..x.x because its the hack is hardware based. nintendo cannot patch it., as soon as nintendo releases a new firmware patching the previous ver. atmosphere is on the scene and makes a new crack.. .
further more. the devs from pegascape said that nintendo switches unpatched will be able to use the caffeine hack eventually as long as you stay at or below 8.x.x

I cannot count the amount of people i have seen posting "help updated by mistake" if that ever happens to you on a patched unit then "welcome to the pay $59 per game side"

get the amosphere hacked switch. keep using the hardware hack and if caffeine ever comes with a working 8.x.x hack then you will have both options readily available for your choosing.

PS. ask if the guy selling you the atmosphere unit has the original NAND backup. if games are already installed along with homebrew apps. then even if you perform a NAND back up you still run the risk of getting banned.,

PS2. DO a back up regardless. because if something goes wrong you will need to restore and if you dont have anything good luck getting your switch working again. ( each nand is specific per unit. kind of how the millenials think they are snowflakes these days )

Always go for the unpatched console.

yes the unpatched is the best bet.
as hard ware based hacks are awesome. and big N cant do nothing about it .
