Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute Emulator Hack
ive dumped the needed files so no need to dump your prod.keys and no need to dump the romfs

1, install the original game
https://ayakalounge.me/threads/cotton-guardian-force-saturn-tribute-multi-lang-eng.45071/thanks @African

2, Download and unzip below copy the atmosphere folder to the root of your sd card
You must click 'Like' before you can see the hidden data contained here

3, Load Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute and cotton2 will now be Sega Rally Championship

4, You can replace all 3 include games on your sd card goto (atmosphere/contents/ inside you will find 3 folders
0100094014BE4006
0100094014BE4007
0100094014BE4008
inside each folder you will find a romfs folder open this folder now simple replace the .Bin file with what ever sega Saturn game you want
you must keep the original Bin file name so for this download Sega Rally Championship.Bin is now Cotton2.Bin in atmosphere/contents/0100094014BE4006/romfs

Enjoy

Wow, nice. A pity that it only has 3 "slots" to use.
Have you checked some games respecting compatibility ?

I'm curious on how a game like Panzeer Dragoon Saga would work being on 4 disks?

From what I read the 4 bins are combined
But I have not tested that yet
Probably can just make 4 standalone game
I'm doing some standalone games
Thanks to @African for supplying the necessary resource

lisreal2401 and shadow256,
thanks also dor this great work!!

prb,

looking forward to your single saturn games.
would be awesome to have a library of saturn titles.
to bad theres no way to play games via dock station external hdd on atmosphere?!

What are the differences (performance or accuracy) of this method comparing to your regular Retroarch core or a standalone emulator like Yaba Sanshiro on the Switch?

Tbh this is one of the best Saturn emulator iv'e come across on a console
Apart from emulating on a pc
The Saturn has always been a difficult system to emulate due to sega with its crazy
Idea of using two separate cpu's and stuff was one of the reasons it failed
Was a difficult system for developers to write software for that's the main reason why the ps1 out sold it by 90 million units poor Sega only only sold 9 million units
But I bought one but I also bought a ps1 and a n64 when they were first released

Humm ok... then it would be interesting if someone could make a full standalone sega saturn emulator out of this instead of us having to rely on the cotton method.

That would be the ideal solution as we could have multiple rom like retroarch

I hear that the input lag of the emulator is huge and in some cases can be unbearable.
If true can it be fixed somehow?
