Complete newbie; a few questions regarding update PKGs

I just bought a PS4 a few days ago. I managed to figure out how to jailbreak it and learned that I should only install fake PKG games. I have questions regarding update PKGs.

1. Do I have to update FPKG games with FPKG updates only or can I use retail PKG updates?
2. What would happen if I update a fake PKG game with a retail PKG update? Will it show an error?

1. You can only use FPKG updates with FPKG games. Retail PKGs aren't going to work because they're encrypted and cannot be decrypted via exploit because this needs the actual retail disk and PSN access for license verification and such.
2. It probably just won't work and will throw errors.

If you try to install a retail update, it'll hit 99% and give you an error.
