If you want to dump a game for which you have no updates for or if you want to download a more recent update do the following:

1-. Obtain the Title ID

- Digital Game Method: FTP to the location of the game in your Hard Drive, download the png files and check them until you find the correct one for the game you want to dump. (This method works as long as your Digital game is legit as installing legitimately signed updates to fake-signed games can't be done)

- Disc Game Method: The Title ID will be printed in the disc, look in the right-most part of the disc for it, here is an example: https://i.imgur.com/X9iQf82.jpg

2-. Look for updates with the Title ID

- Go to this website: https://cusaresolver.com/ (by 0x199) and input the Title ID, e.g. CUSA00743 (Peggle 2)
- Navigate to the 'Updates' Tab, all available updates will be listed.
- Click on 'View Full Details' then Click on 'Information', the minimum required firmware will be shown there.
- After you have found the latest applicable update Click on 'File Pieces'.
- Updates that are larger than 4GB in size will be split into 4GB pkgs until the last one which will be of less size.

3-. Download the Update

- If the update is only one file: Download the update and copy it to the root of your USB, if your game is digital it needs to have been legitimately downloaded from PSN for the update to install as the extraction keys will still be in your system, at this point you can install the update as you do an fpkg & start dumping your updated game.

- If the update is split: Download all of the pieces, I usually start from Piece 0.
- Download pkg-merge https://github.com/Tustin/pkg-merge (by Tustin): move all of the update's pieces to the 'packages' folder and start up pkg-merge, follow the on-screen instructions and wait until it completes.
- Navigate to the 'packages' folder and copy or move the largest pkg file to the root of your USB.
- Install on your PS4 as you would an fpkg.
- You can now dump your updated game.

*While in theory you can download and install updates that require a higher firmware than 5.07 your PS4 will refuse to start the application until the required firmware is installed so this method DOES NOT let you dump updates that require 5.07+.

*This guide assumes that your USB is of sufficient size to hold the merged update and that it is formatted to exFAT.

No problem, glad to share what I know.

As long as people still have the disc, or the legit content installed on their system they should be able to update their already-dumped games and upload the update.
