Hi guys,

Could use some advise please.

I have a PS4slim, running 5.05 and am using HEN.
I had upgraded it's internal HDD to a 2TB drive; which works like a charm.

Now that I have the 2TB pretty much full, I figured Id hook up an additional 5TB USB3 drive.
I formatted it on the PS4 and it sees it as external storage. I also set the install location to this external drive.

However, now when I try to install fake pkg files, either it returns an error (ce-41798-9), or the PS4 even simply shuts down completely.. I work with fake pkg files, of which I am 200% sure they are OK. Any advise what to do please?

Alternatively, could I move installed fake pkg files from the internal drive to the external drive (and if so, how/where do I do that) and will these games then still work afterwards? Then, Ill just move the installed ones to the external storage and set the internal HDD as the default install location.

Thanks in advance for your advice. Appreciated!

Keep your internal hdd as a default.
Don't use it as an extended drive, use ApptoUsb payload to later transfer internal hdd games to External, Format your External hdd to exfat and use ApptoUsb
