Bad news for team xecuter

I wonder if that would also hurt tinfoil's asshole dev at some point. Technically he was shoehorning users to sxox by unlocking features for SX OS .

That will teach em for charging people for what is essentially a free piece of software, because they charged and made profit from it all, it landed them in jail.
But it does mean that SXOS might not be updated for a while.

yup, 2 people caught. and many more to come if they snitch on the rest for a lower penalty. Bad news for people that bought it and fell for that scam.

blawar asshole was indeed promoting sx os. worst part is they wanted to make more money by offering premium options on tinfoil if you bought sx os. LOL.
so much drama in the scene now.

Well crap, I've literally just finished soldering my sx core in and then find this!! :laugh::laugh: shame the sx core is the only way to hack the V2 :(:(

Better hope that Nintendo doesn't update the firmware with new features (they will) that requires CFW's to requires updating too, as I don't see SXOS being updated anytime soon.

I don't think it'll hurt Blawar as much, as he was only writing a piece of software that technically doesn't break any laws, but he'll probably loose out on any funds he might have been getting from Xecuter.
 
What goes around comes around.

I hope the profits TX exploited from their customers in the past - is enough for them to hire a good lawyer this time.

I can't see it being updated either unless it's done by some of the team in China? but i'm used to having lower fw devices, my ps4 is still on 5.05 after updating from 4.55 :laugh:

I don't think any amount of lawyers can get them out of this one, they sold items for profit, so it's technically a business for piracy, they are screwed.

then add all websites they opened. also add the modchip was intentionally and specifically SOLD to promote piracy. and then add the fact that big N has "class S lawyers" and team x could pay "class D lawyers" it wont even be a fight. it will be a feasting for big tendo.

Tell me about it, i've got 10 chips here, but can't register them :-(
 
glad I'm only on SX OS and not the chip or whatever... time to find a decent tutorial on moving everything over to Atmosphere. Probably overdue!
 
Think i am going to have to move to atmosphere. Just used sxos because i was lazy really so looks like some reading up in the future.
 
I don't think this is the end for SXOS, it'll probably still be updated and such, but I think the team will be a bit cautious for a while.
 
A senoir member on the forum seems to think they are not going to update. And the advice given is just don't update switch firmware if you which to continue to use SXOS.
