I know this exists, but I live paycheck to paycheck (I was lucky to get my PS4 from a yard sell a year back), I really don't need to spend $60 on a Save Editor, that I'll rarely use... I'm just looking for something as I was trying to get back into Borderlands 2 again since my saves corrupted back on 4.55, but I don't want to start off from the begining if I could cause I nearly completed the game getting to the vault, and all with the final handsome jack fight :/ being on 5.05 I can't ask anyone to Cross Save their PS3/PS Vita Save either as I can't connect to PSN... IDK I'm probably asking a little much.

you do know you need PSN to back up ur saves in order to use a save editor in general so your out of luck

You can back-up your saves to a USB using Mira's Debug Options, All you have to do is Hover over any Game/App you want, and enter the settings menu (Option Button), and at the bottom of the list you should see a Debug option for "Save Data Management" in there you can transfer System saves onto the USB either one at a time, or just click the Options Button again, and Select Multiple.

I have a few saves already backed up with this, and you can even transfer saves back to the internal storage from the USB too.

This is legit. Also I'd be very interested in using such tool myself for games I lost my saves to. It is such a pain to go through the whole game again when there are so many games I want to play now that we have 505.

How come when I try to backup my save it asks me to sign on to PSN?

this works even without debugging, only if it has ever been connected to the psn
