Hello, i play vr games with 6.72 I saw update in vr submenu Can I continue to play the games if I update? thank you for your interest

I wonder the same thing. I have a ps4 on 5.05 and another one on 6.72. The vr headset has only been used on 5.05. Is it safe to use on 6.72 and update the firmware? I would still be able to use it on 5.05. Is it even safe to use on a fully updated ps4?

I'll test, pretty sure you can though (need a vr game first, will find a small one to use) before I update to 7.02

(I know my psvr definitely said it needed an update which I did and it still worked afterwards, just unsure which fw I was on)

If you update your vr headset firmware you will need to use a firmware spoofer for the ps4 to enable the now updated vr headset to work i currently run 6.72 with vr 5.0 firmware but need to use a 8 or higher spoofer for it to work not sure on 7.02 if there is a firmware spoofer available yet

I used https://leeful.github.io/v10/ load hen 2.1.3. Don't use 2.1.3b as it gave me errors and won't load psvr.

Why is firmware spoofer needed?
I use VR headset firmware 3.5 on a 5.05 PS4 and never needed to use firmware spoofer.
how does firmware spoofer affects VR? and what would happen if I don't use FW sppofer?
