Hey everyone sorry if this is a stupid question but basically Ive had my ps4 running 5.05 for the past month working great I had brought one of those esp8266 and using that to run HEN and recently cached the esp device , but Im in confusion about connecting to the net to run netflix , youtube and things... with HEN enabled I just plugged my ethernet cable in and connected ( easy ) to the internet and it just started downloading game updates and the dreaded 5.56 update so I pulled the cable out pretty quickly all of my games are fpkgs so wasnt sure if that was a good idea .....so any help would be great about getting connected to the net/ router so i can run netflix/ remote play. Cheers

so the version of HEN 1.7 says it has no update blocker, on the same xploit there is HEN 1.6 with blocker is ll i need to do is run that and connect to the net or?

and once connected do I have to disconnect every time run HEN then reconnect to the internet via options?

cheers

Update Blocker is a dedicated payload on the exploit page and afaik it is called "Disable Updates" on the payload page. I saw no direct relation to the HEN version when using self hosted vs Al Azif public DNS (which is more up to date).

Also do yourself a favor... Open Settings - System - Automatic Downloads and untick everything there. No more unexpected automatic downloads of stuff.

You can always stay online. No need to disconnect. Just get the update blocker right and disable automatic downloads.
