Hey guys,
I'm trying to figure out how to update my switch/atmosphere version so it would support newer games, but kinda stumped.
I have a switch (which wasn't hacked by me) currently on 8.1.0 version and AMS 0.9.3. I do have some experience with hacks and such, but less so in this scene. I tried watching some tutorials about updating, but they all share the same problem for me- they all say you have to boot into RCM using a jig.
I, however, do not have any sort of RCM jig, and when my switch is turned off and the on it goes directly into hekate, from where I can access the emuMMC. I think it's what you call auto-RCM from what I've gathered but I'm totally not sure about it.
Anyone can help me in the process of updating? Do I really must have an RCM jig?
Thanks for your help!
