I recently tried updating to 8.0.1 firmware using ChoiDujourNX. Everything seemingly went smoothly and I can boot up into SXOS just fine. But when I try to load CFW or OFW the screen just goes black and sticks there. I have to hard reset before I can even boot up SXOS again. I backed up my NAND beforehand, so I went to try and restore my old NAND, but discovered that it saved my boot0/1 but not the raw NAND. I've tried reformatting the sd card to exfat, tried reformatting to fat32, reinstalled and verified SXOS 2.8, and tried two different SD cards (one 256 and one 64). All efforts produce the same result. Am I screwed? Is there some way to rebuild the NAND without having the full raw?
Help please!

If you have a custom theme installed go ahead and uninstall it. as that is a problem that will give you black screen.,
you need to boot into SXos and uninstall it

if you cant boot into SXOS and switch is not charging or not doing anything you need to put switch in RCM first even if the screen is black. AutoRCM and SXos in 8.0.1 arent really friends right now since they are still in beta

think hard maybe you have a copy of original NAND from the first time you hacked your switch , I know I had a copy burried in files i did not even know it was there
If you are using a Mac and have "archive bit" enabled go ahead and disable it. its a known issue that Macs do automatically for SD cards

are you formatting the SD card but you have an old copy of your files ?
if so , download fresh copies of SxOS and all files required for 8.0.1

if everything fails and the theme is the issue go and delete these 2 folders 0100000000001000 and/or 0100000000000811 inside your sdCard:/<your cfw>/titles .dont worry those 2 folders pertain to themes and fonts

PS
SXOStheme is just a cheap copy of NXthemeinstaller just like they a cheap copy of atmosphere , thats why no one likes SX team
