unable to instal nsp files / Goldleaf not working

Hi,

So I gave my switch to a friend who managed to update to the latest switch firmware, I believe 9.1.0.

I have mannged to ge hekate and atmosphere all working and to play some games ( ones that were already installed before the update I managed to find the save files and copy over and it all seems to be working fine ) although I have come into one issue which is i am having trouble with th home-brew menu. For started it is saying *APPLET MODE* which is I then click 'net loader' and straight away b ack out the *APPLET MODE* does go away and a couple of apps appear ( I have only put Goldleaf and the App Store on ) the App Store vaugely works but no writing appears. but Goldleaf which I was using to instal the naps no issues before hand now just loads a black sc been and that is it.

Does anyone have a solution ? any other apps I can try that would work ? or just any other way to instal nap files ?

I am also on Mac OS so I have ready about some ways to instal nsp files from usb but would this work for Mac OS ? if so then how would I go about this ?

also probably worth adding I have just stumbled across people downgrading their switches, does anyone kn ow if this is something I can do as I always thought this was not possible due to the fact of it being burnt to the fuses ? correct me if I'm wrong. if this is qa possibility I might be best doing this then ?

when you update firmware homebrew apps dont work/properly or at all. so you need to update them

atmosphere ignores fuse checks.
what do i mean by that? it means you can downgrade CFW to a lower firmware with NO problems.
using Choidjounr.

Hi thanks for the tutorial .

I am using gold leaf 8.0 , 0.10.2atmosphere .
I changed the USB driver to libusbkv 3.0.7.0 with Zadig already.
The USB icon on goldleaf just wont show and cannot detect from the Quark or NS USB loader, the switch will charge but will not able to transfer files.

Tinfoil opens but wont let me select any options, wont response to any button other than Home.

Awoo works finally but slow so i hope i find solution to goldleaf.

Any ideas ?

try to update your java to 9.0 i think is the latest ( i think)
Thats because I read Xortroll testing discord and latest version of goldleaf is optimized to work with the latest version of java

UPDATE: i just tested goldleaf 8.0 and could NOT get it to work with Quark (using atmopshere for 8.0.1 CFW) then I tried with goldleaf .0.7.3 and it worked just fine ( on the same 8.0.1 CFW)

Thank you . I managed some how by opening gold leaf first then did the Zadig again then ok ! Thank you for your help .

awesome it seems 8.0.1 has many issues.
stay at 0.7.3 or below

May i ask what version of atmosphere u on ? I currently have some issue with playing lan game with ppl using switch-lan-play . Communcation error or room disappears lol

I am on atmosphere 0.9.3 and CFW 8.1.0
