Stupid! I updated to 10.2 and didn’t hit exfat and burned a fuse

Hi so using atmosphere and ChoudriNX I updated to 10.2.0 and didn’t hit the exFat version. I also disabled auto RCM mode so I’ve burned a fuse.

How do I go about getting exfat back to my switch? I appreciate I need to move atmosphere etc to a FAT card but can I just reflash the firmware or will I end up with a brick? / do I need to wait for then next FW drop from ninty?

since you didnt hit exfat. your switch will only read fat32 cards. in order to avoid loosing all your games and save data do this

1 get another sd card (any sd will do. even a 1gb sd. format it to fat32. put all atmopshere files in it and start the flashing process again.
2 it does not matter if you reflash firmware 10.2.0 again. its totally fine.
follow all steps again up to the point of using exfat. complete the process and then turn switch off
put main sd card in and it should be able to boot just fine.

final, step 3. dont make same mistake again

Relatively painless to fix after your guidance, luckily had a spare fat card in my 3DS.

All because of the stupid Mario collection but it’s also been a learning experience.
