Game Name: Rogue Galaxy
Codebreaker Injected: NO
Widescreen: NO
Title-ID: CUSA-02195 // SCUS-97490
Size: 5GB
Issues:
Notes: This is the "PS2 Classics" version, full trophies and custom fixes. No Widescreen as the PSN version doesn't have WS either, and this is a strenuous game for the PS4 to emulate.

thanks sabin1981.
I wonder why you say strenuous game for PS4, this is just an old ps2 game right?

Emulation isn't like running a native piece of software, it's not comparable. Some titles pushed their respective systems to the limit, Rogue Galaxy did that for the PS2, and thus making it that much harder to emulate.

Can I ask what custom fixes did you apply?
I remember this game being somewhat laggy on the menus. You mean, you were able to fix that?

The official custom fixes created by those who work at Sony :) This is the official PS2 Classics version, it may not be perfect - emulation rarely is - but it's no different to what you'd get if you bought it directly from PSN.

I want o make a fpkg using the undub ver. of RG can anyone upload the emu files? (minus the iso)

Sure thing! Here you go :)

Full emulator template including official patches and trophies. Once you've made the undub (remember that some DVD5 releases are seriously broken and freeze at certain points in the story, so please make sure the full game works end to end <3) I'll add it to the OP if you want :)

you run the risk of the game freezing at a unknown point in the game. This is caused by the trophies being so precise, and locked to RAM addresses. If your ISO is changed in anyway, the game may freeze due to trophies being present. I know this for a fact. I tried to create a GTA Vice City with the original ISO with all the songs(not the one $ony/rockstar re-released with a ton of missing songs). The game would lock up at the same point. If I changed "--trophy-support=1" to 0, it would boot and work just fine.

..Technically if you have a way of knowing the new RAM addresses for your replacement ISO, you can alter the trophy .lua to match. This of course would work. But this is some L33T stuff and I would like to see anyone pull it off. Would take some skillz not present in most(me included)

so far everything is fine. trophys pop when there supposed to, been playing for a few hours. not to say there won't be a problem sometime later down the line, but like you said i could just turn trophys off. I don't see why there would be a problem tho it's the exact same us ver. just the audio files have been replaced there's nothing added or taken away so it should be the same. right?

Probably so. My example (GTA VC) and (GTA VC with all the songs) are very different in size, file content, etc. Glad to hear this works for your undub project! You now have the "definitive" version of RG

Right now i'm playing the Original PS2 version on my PS4 and i'm about to beat the game (70 hours in ) the game runs on the PS4 flawlessly in widescreen (i chose the NTSC-U setting) so i'm not sure about the PAL settings of the game, runs smoothly, very stable, not a single issue and i maxed out all my characters

Although i'm curious do you think that i can use my save form the original playing your PSN version of the game?
