if i jailbreak my switch, would i still be able to play my retail/bought games online? or can i still get banned by just having backuped games on my switch device and being connected to the internet?

If you want to play online games then no, hacking is not for you because you will get banned. Being banned means being barred from online play.

I don't think if a developer can work on to prevent wave-ban like PS3 did clear history, disable syscall may be possible near future on Nintendo switch as well.

If I am wrong, I don't have Nintendo switch. I'm Nintendo fans as well. If Nintendo switch has syscall and history file when logged then send to Nintendo server.

A friend used to cfw while offline (XCI) and whenever he wanted to play online original games, he turns off the Switch and boot in ofw instead.
