PSVR Question

I can confirm that I successfully updated. My PSVR was below version 3.1, and my console is not connected to the internet. Since version 3.1 for PSVR is included in PS4 firmware version 5.05, I could update my PSVR offline by going to: debug settings ----->psvr----> update firmware. Updated PSVR and works fine.

If you have PSVR firmware above version 3.1, then you would need to use a payload, which I do not have expereince with, and therefore cannot give advice.

I have not had a chance to try it yet, but I doubt it will work. if the psvr is already above the firmware version that is included 5.05, why would updating it work. it makes no sense. not one person has confirmed that they have successfully got it to work. and this thread has been on here a while now. I will try it today at some point and post back. but I will be surprised if it works
 
The updating doesnt work. It tried to flash the firmware to 3.10 but our VR is already on 4.10, you cant reversed it. Alternative i can think of is to use ESP8266 with the payload. I'm trying to get this audino chip

I just tried the payload with esp8266 and I can confirm it does not work. like I said, it was never likely to work in the first place. anybody who claims they have successfully used a 4.10 psvr on firmware 5.05 is lying. unless they come on here with a detailed step by step instructions on how they got it to work, they are lying.

For version 3.10 psvr, can it work with 5.05 direct? Am I required to send some sort of vr payload? I'm thinking of selling my 4.10vr and get a used 3.10 as alternative...
 
I bought ESP8266 but I swap VR with other person before I could test it. Payload for ESP8266 is newest one and have more options for VR so I just need to grab another VR set with 4.1 to test it
 
Grab a 3.10 vr headset yesterday n there's no extra payload to be send, jus load hen n all good to go...

I wouldn't bother trying it, it doesn't work on 4.1 psvr
 
Finally i can approve that its working
-Ps vr 2nd gen 4.1 work perfect on 5.05 jb consule with (Hen1.8+VR)
 
What is the current Version on PS Firmware 7.0. Is it still psvr firmware 4.1.?

Is it working to use the psvr headset on firmware 7.0. And then again with al azif hen?
