So hi guys. I just got my 5.05 PS4 Slim today and I played around with the payloads and stuff. Great experience!
But while I was backupping my games, I read that the savegames from my old PS4 Slim (5.55) are not compatible with the fresh 5.05 PS4, cause there is no PSN account linked to it. The only way to play my old savegames on the new 5.05 PS4 seems to be resigning them with save wizard.
Now I found a video where some guy upgraded his hdd in his jailbroken ps4 and after that he restored his backup. So Im wondering if this would kind copying only the files or even the psn account.
So my question is: when I restore a backup from my 5.55 console on my 5.05 console will my psn account be "signed" into my console so I dont need to resign them?
I tried to find the answer myself but the whole scene is so young and fresh, I couldn't find the right answers.
